The WHY!
If lawyers get reviewed, businesses get reviewed, and literally every restaurant on Yelp gets rated for cold fries, why shouldn't the people making life-altering judicial rulings be held to the exact same standard?
I spent years in courtrooms watching judges wield absolute power like royalty with a gavel, and frankly, I got tired of the total lack of accountability. When everyday people or lawyers walk into a courtroom, it’s basically a high-stakes guessing game—except the judge's mood that morning literally dictates the outcome of your life.
So we started Judge-y, because it was past time for judicial accountability.
If lawyers get reviewed, businesses get reviewed, and literally every restaurant on Yelp gets rated for cold fries, why shouldn't the people making life-altering judicial rulings be held to the exact same standard? We built Judgey to give litigants, attorneys, court staff, and court watchers a platform to finally 'judge the judges' like they judge you.
We’re talking anonymous reviews, raw video footage, performance metrics, and candid transparency. No fluff, no PR filter.
I didn't start this app to be everyone's unpaid, 24/7 legal therapist—I started it because the system is a black box, and someone needed to shine a spotlight inside.
Judgey isn’t a tool of retribution; it’s about judicial accountability, radical transparency, and giving people the knowledge they need before they step foot in a courtroom.
