- Relies heavily on what the GAL says without reading and having any interest in factual and professional documentation right in front of her. - Enjoys sending parents through “reunification” therapy when she doesn’t even know what it entails or that we do not have “reunification” therapists in our area. -She makes her mind up about the parties before her based on the lousy GAL or FCW and treats people as if they are trash - Because she has no idea what’s going on in your case protective safe parents lose their kids Fairness & Impartiality: Refused to look at both professional and personal documentation because she already made up her mind about me. Treated me as less than based off the skewed discussion about me by the unhinged GAL. Judicial Temperament: Literally shoved documentation off her desk during court that my atty caught and proceeded to read to her. Because her mind was already made up about me she proceeded to tell me that my concerns were not a big deal and that I brought all of this on myself due to my behavior. She refused to ever listen to me. Had she done so, she would have (maybe because I sure wouldn’t want to hold my breath on this one) understood that I wasn’t the one who was oversharing adult situations with my child or being abusive in any way. She also would’ve learned that there is no “Reunification” therapist in our area and that the court appointed therapist didn’t even know what a reunification therapist was. Communication: Honestly she did a terrific job explaining how everything was my fault but never actually listened to anything I had to say. She spent all her time staring at the ex and his atty in amazement at the awful things they were saying about me. When she would look at me she was disgusted and visibly irritated with me. I never stood a chance in her courtroom. I have never felt as abused and small by someone I thought knew her job as I did sitting before her. Timeliness: She was always there with her look of disgust on her face for me upon walking into the courtroom.
