Rampersad has no business being in charge of families lives. i’m guessing that’s why they have her on criminal cases. Sje is completely incompetent, doesn’t know that law and hides behind her hideous decisions. She won’t release your case if she’s made civil rights violations because she didn’t want other judges to see how utterly incompetent she is. she is a criminal destroying peoples lives and should go to jail! Judicial Temperament: she says things that contradict her ruling but is not angry. just utterly incompetent

Dissolution of Marriage; DVPO Legal Knowledge: She does not apply the law as it stands and she makes it clear she doesn’t agree with existing laws. She rules however she wants, is extremely biased, and her rulings are based on who she likes, not on what the law says. She often reads the statutes during hearings and it’s clear she has little knowledge of state and constitutional law. Fairness & Impartiality: Judge Rampersad rules however she wants, she is extremely biased against abuse survivors, and her rulings are based on who she likes, not on what the law says. She works with opposing counsel to bend the law to fit her unjust rulings. Judicial Temperament: Rampersad is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. She acts professional and progressive when court-watchers are present, but once in a while her mask slips and she appears as a power-hungry, retaliatory toddler. She’s unprepared and disorganized and it’s clear she rarely reads the entire set of pleadings because she’s already made up her mind based on who she likes. Communication: Judge Rampersad often has the attorney she favors write her orders - leading to misinformation and biased “rulings.” On the orders she does write herself, they are short, vague, and absent of meaningful findings to support her rulings. Timeliness: Though it’s easy to predict how she will rule (based on who she likes, not the law), she often takes weeks or over a month to enter orders. She makes harmful mistakes in her orders (I once had to send a DVPO back 3 times due to mistakes including names, birthdates, etc.). This resulted in the final order taking over two months to be entered.
