Judge Jennifer Barrett was attempting to exhonerate my abuser and target my family through Truancy court as soon as the Covid restrictions were lifted. Legal Knowledge: This Judge misuses court proceedings to abuse victims and survivors & she likes to make people 'court dead' by taking too long to make her Rulings and Orders or leaving cases unresolved. My teen's case was taken off the docket due to a flood that caused the courthouses to close that day- 7/13/2023. the case never came back but was never closed either. Fairness & Impartiality: This Judge favors men. Judicial Temperament: Judge is very harsh and uses shadow dockets to justify her bias and misconduct. Communication: Judge Barrett left my daughter's truancy case open and never ruled anything on the record, nor would she allow me access to the Discovery. Timeliness: leaves people literally 'court dead.'
