From what I've observed, the handling of the case I continue to witness reflects a significant lack of consideration for both the defendant and the child. Despite there being no findings of abuse or neglect, the court permitted the state to rely on testimony that did not accurately represent the facts. Efforts to address these issues or clarify the record were largely dismissed, and it appeared that key information was not fully or fairly evaluated. Ultimately, the decision to separate the child from the parent was made without a complete and balanced review of the evidence, raising serious concerns about the fairness of the proceedings and the impact on the family. This isn't an isolated occurrence. I have continued to observe this pattern across multiple hearings, which is deeply troubling. In the end, it is the child and the mother who suffer the consequences, despite no findings of wrongdoing. The outcome suggests a process that fails to properly account for the real-life impact of these decisions on individuals who have done nothing to justify such harm.

The court’s handling of the matter I continue to witness demonstrates a troubling disregard for both the defendant and their child. Despite the absence of any findings of abuse or neglect, the judge permitted the state to present and rely on testimony that was inaccurate and misleading. Efforts to correct the record or be meaningfully heard were repeatedly dismissed, leaving critical facts unexamined. As a result, the decision to remove the child was made without a fair and balanced consideration of the evidence, undermining confidence in the integrity of the proceedings and causing unnecessary harm to the family involved.
