He DISMISSED child abuse at probable cause hearing when there was 1-video of father admitting fault 2-video of child screaming after father is seen approaching 9 yr old child, attack takes place off camera but you can hear full audio. 3-medical evidence of broken bones 4-CAC interview with child, consistent with other reports to police, DCYF, and the videos. And judge dismissed it allowing the perpetrator to go free. Prosecutor reported that he made light of it as if it was a joke, and called the child rambunctious (as if he deserved a break ken arm?) before he ever reviewed the evidence. He now sits in Family Court, presiding over the divorce case too (after father has pled guilty in Superior Court where the child abuse case was finally taken to get around the disgusting district dismissal) and is refusing to order retroactive child support (when the father worked the majority of the year prior), thereby enabling financial abuse. He's also continuing to force contact with the children while the father is currently incarcerated. Refuses to give the mother an order of protection after her life was threatened. Legal Knowledge: refuses to protect marital property of value by allowing father to give things away to third parties before they are appraised Fairness & Impartiality: made comments criticizing child abuse victim before he ever reviewed evidence Judicial Temperament: Very rude. admonishes victims attorney, but does nothing for similar behavior from perpetrators counsel. clearly playing favorites Communication: no explanation given on many denied motions Timeliness: makes decisions before all responses/objections are received on motions. other motions he completely ignores and refuses to rule on
