Family Court- several different types of cases. Legal Knowledge: I have observed her “helping” a party who was not represented, with legal knowledge. She has also passed orders preventing social media posts during CHIPS cases- given the context this appeared to be a violation of the right to free speech; and judicial bias, assisting county employees she works with regularly. Fairness & Impartiality: She sides with the county, if they are involved, repetitiously. That said, in a case the county was watching closely but not party to, she was impartial. Though, in a parallel case- supported the county; who was opposing the party that was legally correct in the prior case that fully tied into the county case. Judicial Temperament: She is personable and kind, with a steady temperament.
