Legal Knowledge: Judge allowed DHS to make statements in open court regarding non respondent parent. Non respondent parent attempted politely to inform the court that neither the investigator, the cps case worker, the GAL or DHS attorney attempted to make contact with non respondent parent regarding issues. Judge essentially shut down any response from the no respondent parent. in an attempt to hold the parent voluntarily terminating their rights to their financial responsibility judge interprets the statute incorrectly and basically tells the PA because she said so. other parent forced to file on their own instead of through the normal child support FOC route. judge is noted to have said once the parents divorce she will consider reviewing the request for child support. divorce with out children due to the VTPR finalized 2 years ago. feels super retaliatory.

Timeliness: she tramples due process and doesn’t allow time to secure counsel and gives one business day notice on emergency posture.
