Hearing regarding a Personal Protective Order. Because a gun was mentioned, Hon. Middleton decided to prevent the defendant/respondent from owning or possessing a gun. Zero evidence was used to make this determination. A second hearing took place the following year in order to extend the PPO. Hon. Middleton pressed the gun issue a second time with zero evidence to back his wishes. Hon. Middleton does not respect the color of law or the second amendment. Legal Knowledge: He clearly knew what he was doing, trampling the constitution with zero evidence or even preponderance of evidence. Fairness & Impartiality: Middleton decided to side with the Petitioner merely because she claimed she was a victim. When evidence was presented to point out several lies the Peritioner had made against the Respondent, Middleton chose not to observe the evidence. When presented with evidence regarding a claim about a child who witnessed domestic violence, Hon. Middleton chose not to pursue the matter and ignored the claims, siding with the Petitioner based on zero facts. When brought to his attention that a witness was not present and the Petitioner’s statements were all hearsay, Hon. Middleton ate it up as if they were facts. Judicial Temperament: When presented with the fact that Hon. Middleton disregarded the second amendment with zero facts to back his position to disarm an American Citizen, Hon. Middleton became visibly angry and insisted that the Respondent remain disarmed with zero facts to back up his feelings. Communication: No clear articulable reason was presented in order to disarm an American citizen for two years. Timeliness: Hon. Middleton swiftly decided to disarm an American citizen for two years.
