Lori Goodwin must be removed from the bench immediately. Her disregard for the safety of children is evident, as evidenced by her unprofessional demeanor and lack of respect for both parties involved in a case. She appears to have made up her mind before hearing the evidence and is biased in her decision-making process. Goodwin fails to hold each party accountable for their own actions and exhibits favoritism in her rulings. It is imperative that she be removed from the bench to ensure a fair and impartial judicial process

Presented evidence that the father of my child was heavily involved with cocaine and other drugs equivalent to Molly on two different occasions and the quote from judge was, "Well, its not heroine or meth, so..." Along with little financial support. Ruled in 50/50 custody anyway.
Fairness & Impartiality: Felt she was bias. When the father mentioned his mom can take care of the child on his days, she made a comment that her grandmother raised her so she felt connected to that statement. (That is not verbatim)

Legal Knowledge: the court order was so poorly written. the information in order was not correct. the information she said she went off was not correct. went to court in Aug. didn’t get a ruling until late late Dec.
Communication: she ruled on false information. the ruling was so poorly written. ruling doesn’t even address holidays or summer and winter breaks.
Timeliness: took 6 months for a ruling that was ruled on from false information. she said I lived in etown. I don’t. and haven’t lived in town in 14 years. I picked my kids up from my house cause the mother took the kids and would allow me to see them. it was no custody agreement. so I had rights to my kids.
Fairness & Impartiality: during her findings in my custody case. she ruled I get ny kids every other weekend. no dv no abuse allegations. nothing at all. she stated I lived in etown which isn’t correct. I haven’t lived in etown in 14 years she won’t correct her error. she stated I took my kids from they grandparents house. that’s not true. I picked my kids up from my house that the grandmother was watching them at. I feel these two errors led to me not getting 50/50 of my kids. the other lawyer argued that I couldn’t properly provide for my kids cause I coach high school football and I work for the school. systems. that’s a joke.

Legal Knowledge: Rulings and motions were delayed for unreasonable periods, and the judge often appeared unfamiliar with the submitted briefs. Furthermore, when decisions were handed down, the reasoning was vague and difficult to interpret. The community deserves a more engaged and decisive jurist.

Legal Knowledge: Working within this division makes it obvious that independent justice takes a backseat. The judge routinely rubber-stamps whatever the Cabinet for Health and Family Services or CPS puts on the docket, treating state social workers like co-judges rather than parties who need to prove their case. The staff sees firsthand how counter-evidence from parents is actively stalled or buried to protect the state's narrative. It creates a deeply biased environment where the outcome is decided before the hearing even starts.
