Judge Yahr is the THIRD judge on the case. The first judge recused after a motion was filed. The 2nd judge, judge Brislin, was on the case. She self recused once she got caught colluding with opposing counsel. There's a LOT more on judge Brislin that'll be discussed in a separate review. Judge Yahr then took over. Prior to a hearing being heard in court, Yahr ADMITTED that she had knowledge of the case and that she's "Heard it be tried." That's a problem in itself. Judge Yahr found a party in the case to be in contempt. Here's the caveat. There are NO PREVIOUS ORDERS WRITTEN that backed up the contempt. Instead, Yahr found the party to be "In contempt" without any valid previous orders being written. It's a violation of due process and a constitutional rights violation to write orders the same day that someone is found to be in contempt. A judge can't claim someone is in contempt and then write contempt orders in the SAME hearing. Judge Yahr is so unhinged that she had a Prohibition of Writ and Mandamus filed against her which was granted by the court of appeals, as well as an emergency motion had to be filed with the court of appeals, which overturned one of Yahr's orders. Judge Yahr also violated the law when she wrote contempt orders that couldn't be met. Judge Yahr wrote a payment schedule that was/is impossible to meet. She ordered $20,000 to be paid in October, November, and December, with another payment over $15,000 to be paid in January. Judge Yahr has also misrepresented the court record by changing a litigant's oral testimony for the written record. Judge Yahr rules out of emotional instability, retaliation, abuse of power, abuse of contempt, ex-parte communications with other judges, and she violates litigants due process. She told my attorney that she wouldn't hear his motions prior to the hearing, only opposing counsels motions. Judge Yahr needs to be removed from the bench! The family court judges in Lexington KY are CORRUPT and UNETHICAL! They don't follow the law! Legal Knowledge: Since Judge Yahr doesn't follow the law, I'd say her legal knowledge is lacking! Fairness & Impartiality: Yahr wouldn't hear my counsels motions. She's also said that she was doing what opposing counsel wanted and asked opposing party what she wanted her to do. Plus, Yahr mentioned having knowledge about the case PRIOR to the hearing. Therefore, Yahr is NOT impartial. Ex-parte communications with other judges and possibly other attorneys is unethical. Judicial Temperament: Yahr has ruled like an emotionally unstable and unhinged person. She needs a psych eval. Communication: Her rulings are NOT clear. Timeliness: If you think that pre-determining cases BEFORE a hearing is timely, then she gets 5 stars.

Very biased and doesn’t seem to have children’s best interest at heart. She says things that are quite inappropriate to be said, especially when she admits she doesn’t know the full story.

custody & 119 motions not related to kids Communication: she doesn’t allow everyone to be heard in her courtroom and gets upset when it’s requested Legal Knowledge: she decided a case law wouldn’t be applied because it had no similarities. she has violated laws & hungry for power Fairness & Impartiality: absolutely biased Judicial Temperament: I have been told to shut up, not say another word, put in jail, watched others put in handcuffs. she has 17 foster kids and doesn’t seem to mind taking kids from good homes
