he was over a custody and criminal case at the same time with the same parties. I will add he has already been publically reprimanded in his past. Communication: the man NEVER makes a ruling. EVERYTHING is taken under advisemenet ( which plays into allowing the other party to file continuous frivolous motions ). Judicial Temperament: I am still not convinced the man doesn’t have dementia. you literally never know who you will get. one day memory is sharp the next time he’s hollering about something he had already answered to in the previous hearing. temperament hostile one hearing and then not as bad the next. Timeliness: again NEVER makes a ruling . ALWAYS , taken under advisement and has been previously publically reprimanded for timelines and such issues Legal Knowledge: he knows the law which allows him to tip toe the line of ethics Fairness & Impartiality: population 4,000 ish. strong generational families ties within this community as a whole. if you are an outsider, it is not going to be good for you. in summary - never makes a ruling, allows one side to bring allegations with no evidence, speak when they want and how they want, while shutting the other side down at all times. runs his court like a kangaroo court. no professionalism or decorum. allowed language that was discriminatatory of someone’s military service and degrading, with no issue. anytime there was funny business or misconduct he blamed it “all human error”. there was definitely back chambers talk happening prior to hearings. I am not for certain if he has dementia because you could be in there ten times a week for a year and get two different stories or background every time you went. one day memory is perfect (when convenient ) other times he had no clue what was going on. definitely part of the good ole boys club
