Judge Summers was a dismissive, biased, and ineffective judge in my evidentiary hearing. The evidence was not given the attention it deserved, important concerns were brushed aside, and the entire proceeding felt unfair, one-sided, and poorly handled. Legal Knowledge: Judge Summers showed critical concerns in legal knowledge. In my evidentiary hearing, the issues being raised were not handled with the level of legal understanding, attention, or fairness that the situation required. The way the hearing was managed made it feel like important law and evidence were being brushed aside instead of properly applied and considered Fairness & Impartiality: Judge Summers did not appear fair or impartial in my evidentiary hearing. The way the case was handled created a strong impression of bias, with important concerns being treated unevenly and the overall process feeling one-sided rather than neutral Judicial Temperament: Judge Summers showed poor judicial temperament in my evidentiary hearing. The tone from the bench felt impatient, dismissive, and unprofessional, which made it difficult to have concerns heard in a respectful way. A judge should bring patience and control to the courtroom, but that was not my experience here. Communication: Judge Summers refused to issue a written statement of decision and instead relied on an oral ruling that opposing counsel placed on the record for the FOAH, then tried to pass that off as sufficient. Timeliness: judge Summers followed the same patterns of the previous judges in stretched out every hearing or court appearance as far as possible
