Had a case where my former client basically stole my money, tools and locked me out of the project, then fabricated evidence (we proved that in trial), but Kevin Brazile did not care at all and ruled on whatever the opposing attorney wrote in the final statement of decision, even issues that were never alleged or tried. When I confronted the judge about the fact that the opposing attorney asked the judge in open court if she’d see him for dinner, instead of answering he sanctioned me. Legal Knowledge: If you ever have to deal with this judge make sure have a court reporter and object to everything, so you have a chance on appeal. He is the type of judge that won’t let you testify even though you’re a party in trial. This judge does not follow law or anything, even when you put the law in front of him. He follows only what he wants. Many attorneys know him to be a very bad judge as well. Fairness & Impartiality: The word fairness does not exist in his dictionary. Judicial Temperament: He is fairly calm but he disregards everything you say without the slightest care. Communication: He doesn’t tell you anything, he make rulings without any explanation or legales support whatsoever. Timeliness: He goes based on feelings. He makes ruling before even allowing to respond as per the timeline provided by statute.
