family court Fairness & Impartiality: directly contradicts self in orders and court that has major impacts on short-term and long-term outcomes. honestly believe she cannot be impartial as some of her rulings have been so unreasonable. attorneys I have spoken with outside of Alaska are shocked at the rulings she makes. Judicial Temperament: made absolutely inexcusable comments about how she was “over” my case, and how she didn’t read what I submitted prior to my court time. Communication: again - contradicts herself. makes orders that do not align with what was agreed upon by parties in court, forcing me to file appeals which do enable the order(s) to get corrected but is a massive concern to have to do in the first place. Legal Knowledge: took me way to long to explain basic Social Security disability benefits to her and she still messed up and gave disability money that was saved for my children - from my benefits - to my ex to spend however she wanted, even though in an earlier proceeding all parties agreed that money would pay for uncovered medical costs for the children. Which now it doesn’t do and the account is gone so those bills are paid out of pocket. I have since been ordered I cannot even talk about that account to my ex.
